You are not helping my gas problem!
Glad you like it @MikeC ,
I love mine
And the fact you can play as loud as you like without annoying anyone else is the coolest
Cheers Brian
Itās a great piece of hardware, MIke - congrats! Just be conscious of your ears
Always, @joergkutter!
So far Iām fairly happy with the product. Reasonably easy to set up, comfortable, and feels durable/high quality. Playing wirelessly is just as freeing as I thought it would be.
The only major issue Iām experiencing is occasional popping/crackling. Iāve made sure both the receiver and headphones are fully charged, the receiver is fully inserted in the jack, tried in multiple areas of my home, and even a couple of different basses.
Itās not unbearable but certainly irritating for something that costs a pretty penny. Did anyone else have a similar experience?
Ah. Should mentionā¦.close all other apps, this goes away when you do.
When I experienced a bit of crackly static noise with my Waza Air-Bass, I turned off the headphones and pulled the transmitter out of the jack. Then I paired the transmitter with the headphones again.
Et voilĆ .
Intermittent crackly noise was gone.
Living in a townhouse, with common walls, Iāve never āfully heard my bassā and Iām not adequately training my ears with my volume not exceeding one on the volume dial. The in-ears recommended by @Al1885 came yesterday (along with extra earbuds as recommended by @eric.kiser). I called my Sweetwater guy to inquire about the Boss Gt and he mentioned/recommended the Boss Waza. I had seen the heading in the forum, but had noooo idea what they were. I read the post from beginning to end⦠Iāll have the G.AS. pic on Friday.
They are everything they are cracked up to be.
sound is pure gold.
Have fun!!!
@booker_t The Waza Air-Bass system is fantastic, Booker. With it, youāll be able to hear your basses exactly as loud and true as they are.
The Wazaās spatial tweaks and effects are fun to play with, and you might decide to just use them all the time.
But, for mine, I prefer to turn those off. I use no spatial stuff and I set the amp to Super Flat. With these settings, I hear nothing but my bassās true-blue tone.
There are a few little quirks to know in order to get things set up reliably. Shout out if you have any questions.
Ok seriously? Not a single dropout? Not once? I am yet to use a wireless anything (except pro stage gear) that doesnāt annoy the crap out of me with dropouts.
I couldnāt get 3 different Bluetooth speakers to be stable and gave up to buy Yamaha Musicast app receivers. Now that has gone unstable.
If you close all other appsā¦.nope. None
Iām with Dave on this. For audio, wired 4eva.
I get that people like this product, and I am glad. But if you already have good headphones, an amp sim, and a cab sim, you can make a (likely better) version from parts.
Its spatial processing sounds kind of neat but is not something I would seek out as a purchase driver.
Are you schlepping your PC with you when you play outside or wherever else you want? Outside? Other rooms? Travel?
And then donāt you need a DAI?
Did you remember to buy a wireless system so your wireless like the Waza?
Reverb delay distortion etc plug ins?
DAW?
A bit tongue in cheek but your assessment is a bit off.
I mean, for me the answer to all of those things is basically yes
Except wireless (actually a negative for me as mentioned) and the schlepping (I always play and practice in one area).
Daw is always there, as are better and more numerous sims and effects than the waza will have.
This was my point. Maybe itās a me thing though.
Iām not saying it is a bad product at all, it is fine. But superfluous for anyone that already has the important bits.
The Waza is cableless, rechargeable, lightweight and it sounds amazing.
I Bluetooth with my MacBook Pro for playback. No dropouts.
Iāve got all the other bits, but the Waza is my daily plug-and-play goto.
I love mine @booker_t ,
They are awesome,
Cheers Brian
I donāt mean to seem negative on them as a product, above; they seem like a very nice product, in fact, and WazaCraft stuff is usually extremely good.
I was just pointing out - depending on what one already has, and their own situations - they may not add much, and are pretty expensive. Thatās all.
