@booker_t I don’t use mine very much because I’m mostly practicing at home where I have my monitors hooked up to my DAI, but when I DO go somewhere with the Mikro, I take the Waza, and it works just the way I need it to.
I find my Waza super-fast to use and convenient for daily practice. I love having the ability to move around the house untethered to an an amp or a DAI. And it sounds sooooo good. It’s in a league of its own.
Well, I’ll finally hear what my basses sound like. My Sweetwater guy usually gives me free 2 day, and he and FedEx gave a 2-day Friday delivery date, but it’s here (Calif) in less than 24 hours. A great place to shop.
Yep, I got mine from Sweetwater at a great deal.
Have fun with those beautiful basses, Booker!
Headphone practice is in the way cheating, lol. You are so upclose and intimate with the sound and instrument. Nothing sounds better than a big tight boomy bass in your ears.
If I have it my way all my gigs the audiences will get a pair of wireless headphones straight mix from our engineers.
When I first return to bass back at the beginning of the lockdown I was 100% headphone only but then got my grooves back and got a gig. I flinched every few seconds not used to the loudness of it, got back and start doing the amp again.
You go Man! let me know if you have connecting issues. I did, mainly because I have too many Boss products and I got confused, lol.
Thank you Al. I appreciate it. I am LOVING them. I think they are up there with Macaroni and Cheese, surgery, and life-saving medicines when it comes to the best things ever created.
As long as it doesn’t take too long to make. Apparently 3 1/2 minutes is waaaay to long to wait in Florida.
What happened to this world? More people need to believe in something. Bass.
Yeah, Booker! So glad you like the Waza.
I think “Florida” explains it all here.
Hey, I resemble that comment. 3 1/2 minutes means 3 1/2 minutes.
One thing about Roland is that even if they aren’t the best at something they will be damn good. Boss products are solid, and the WazaCraft stuff is their top of the line.
Boss gear is amazing. I actually bought a few used Wazacraft pedals for my collection.
This might sound like a silly question, but has anyone here actually tried playing an electric (non-bass) guitar through a pair of waza air bass headphones.? Or alternatively playing a bass through the headphones not marketed as for bass?
I have been sorely tempted by these for some time but it would be great to be able to use just one pair for both guitar and bass. For day to day practice with guitar I don’t use much in the way of effects, just a boss blues driver into my amp so don’t need much in the way of effects for guitar.
I play bass all the time through normal studio headphones. They sound great. No need for bass-specific headphones.
What you will want (that the Waza provides, but so does lots of other stuff) is amp and cab simulators (and the associated EQ) when playing through headphones; this makes them all sound much better. But you can get by without them too.
The main difference between the bass and guitar would be the effects. You can always run the clean channel. Sound and performance should be identical.
Wish they would release a version that does both guitar and bass effects. Pretty sure the software can run both.
That’s totally correct, @Al1885.
You can run a guitar through the Waza Air-Bass with no problem. Its effects will work well.
