This is a concert I would love to see.
Babymetal will be touring arenas in Europe in 2025 with Poppy as a guest artist. Their arena shows are epic. Babymetal and Poppy together will be epic.
Hoping for a US tour too…

First concert I was taken to was probably something classical, religious, or kids music like Rafi.
First rock or popular concert of a band that I was a fan of since being old enough to form my own opinions was Yes. I was in awe of Chris Squire. He was a commanding presence on that stage. I think that may be part of why I’m here.
Just saw Nick Cave on Friday.
The last concert I went to was Amos Lee, two weeks ago. I won tickets through my local radio station. I like Amos Lee and am not one to turn down a free concert but wasn’t sure what to expect. It was a fantastic show! Solomon Dorsey was on bass and is incredible. The whole band was amazing - excellent show!
First was Tommy James and the Shondells at a car show in 1966. At 14, none of us were old enough to drive but families thought it was fine if we took a train 50 miles into St. Louis and back on our own. Those were trusting times. Latest was Snarky Puppy at a small outdoor patio bar, again in St. Louis. This time I drove.
Styx 1977 and Disturbed 3weeks ago!
Manic Street Preachers 2 weeks ago.
Just got notice that Buddy Guy is coming to Seattle, and thinking about going. Probably my last chance to catch him as I believe this is his last tour.
Saw him once before on a bill with Carlos Santana. Before he became popular he headed up the Santana Blues Band.
First concert was White Zombie, last one was Donny Benet
First was Berlin with Wang Chung at a Kings Island amusement park senior night.
Last was The Beths. (Mostly memorable because the opening band was a disaster, and a creepy guy kept leaning into me, so I found a space by the soundboard.)
The first I remember that truly wowed me was Wynton Marsalis with Branford, Moffett, Kirkland, and Watts.
Last that wowed me was The Brad Mehldau Trio (Larry Grenadier on bass).
first was psychedelic furs in lincoln (uk) and last one was the murder capital in nottingham. although i was into punk from the start, i was only a schoolkid at the time so missed out on the pistols gigs.
EDIT: just realised, username checks out ![]()
First one was 1 of 3 and I don’t remember which came first
All at around 15 years old ish. Either:
My dad taking me to Foo Fighters in Edinburgh
Me and some mates went to see Dream Theater in Glasgow
My dad took me to a bike festival that The Scorpions headlined.
Last gig was the Viagra Boys at the Glasgow Barrowlands. The sound was insane.
First was CCR and Santana
Last was Danu this year
First was Pink Floyd in 77 last was One Ok Rock this past Friday
My first concert when I was 14 or 15 was Suede (London Suede) in a tiny rock bar. They hung out with the crowd after and my friend was American so he spoke English and we chatted a bit. It was a really cool experience.
Last one technically was a local jazz trio in a coffee shop, but last proper concert was Megadeath. My friend knows their tour manager so we got to see them from front of the house which was super cool!
Oh, crap. Actually my last one was Heart. My wife got us tickets as my Xmas present.
They were good too, but nothing like Megadeath…
I guess you are waiting for the upcoming Iron Maiden show to update the date?

I just saw Barry Manilow in Montreal!!!
My parents often played his music in the 70s, I wasn’t much of a fan when I was 7 yrs old, but now in my 50s Fo sho!
The name of the concert was “My last show in Montreal”. I guess he’s feeling his 80+ years.
They will hopefully announce the North American tour soon!
I just got tickets to see Pavlov’s Dog at the Corner hotel in Melbourne in October, and also scored some tickets to see Steve Wilson ( Porcupine Tree) at the forum in Melbourne in November
Cowboy Junkies are also coming in November, haven’t made up my mind yet ![]()
Nothing till August when I’m off to Margate Dreamland for The Buzzcocks, The Stranglers and the Sex Pistols.
