There have been some stellar purple bongos in the past. They rotate the colors frequently.
Yeah Yamaha went that route with the Pacifica 611 and it’s like a big WTF on an otherwise beautiful guitar.

Now we are talking my past life language. I started with a Cannondale then go to Klein love the monolink design then Maverick, then custom Seven. Also had a exogrid motolite, and a few Ibis. I found that GASing basses is much, much cheaper than mountain bike for sure, lol.
If you are into motolite and IndyFab you and I are probably in the same era of riding.

Well there you go. My initial thought was that’s one Fugly bass but it grew on me.
I’d definitely look at Maruszczyk, they are gorgeous I’d love one with a couple of Delano quad xtenders.

I would buy a Dingwall super J bass. If you want versatility the Sandbergs sound great in every video I have seen them in.
Edit: I would also look at a sadowsky j bass or musicman ray
