I just checked. No purple sparkle Bongo. Only Stealth Black or Harvest Gold.
This purple Squier is anti-GAS:
What the actual hell were they thinking with this color combination?
At least a pickguard is a cheap change…
There have been some stellar purple bongos in the past. They rotate the colors frequently.
Yeah Yamaha went that route with the Pacifica 611 and it’s like a big WTF on an otherwise beautiful guitar.
what the hell did I just watch
The 1980s in Britain. Full of casual racism and tea.
I don’t like tortoiseshell pickguards on anything; I don’t get why they exist
To drive replacement pickguard sales XD
Now we are talking my past life language. I started with a Cannondale then go to Klein love the monolink design then Maverick, then custom Seven. Also had a exogrid motolite, and a few Ibis. I found that GASing basses is much, much cheaper than mountain bike for sure, lol.
If you are into motolite and IndyFab you and I are probably in the same era of riding.
Well there you go. My initial thought was that’s one Fugly bass but it grew on me.
I’d definitely look at Maruszczyk, they are gorgeous I’d love one with a couple of Delano quad xtenders.
@John_E I was in a local shop last week and they had a Billy Bo on the “expensive” wall
Me, too, Howard. I’ve always dug Brian Setzer in whichever band he’s been in.
I would buy a Dingwall super J bass. If you want versatility the Sandbergs sound great in every video I have seen them in.
Edit: I would also look at a sadowsky j bass or musicman ray
I have to take a little back of what I said. I do not like Brian Setzer at all. However, I do like Reverend Horton Heat. Go figure.

Brian Setzer
His big band / orchestera was outstanding.

Absolutely, no doubt about it.

Absolutely, no doubt about it.
And regardless of how you feel about his music, the 6120 and his 6120 signature are just amazing guitars.
