I’d “like” another bass … so i can keep one LOCKED in at 440 tuning… and the other can play the Alice in Chains, Three Days Grace, Green Day, Gorillaz stuff

I mean honestly cell phones pushing close to $1k for something that ruins your life. A $1200 Music Man doesn’t seem so bad.

Once my employment status changes I’m buying a couple of “nice” basses.

Get a BB300 off of Reverb and thank me after. It’s a reverse P bass (the pickups are reversed vs a standard P). Because they’re 40 years old, they’re a third of the price of a Fender P, and comparing them side by side to the Fenders in GC, I liked the “P bass sound” more than the Fender. I wanna say I got mine for $400. I was wondering if I’d not have room for it with my 734 but that’s not going to be the case. The 300 still has a prominent home in my rack.

My Xmas haul as far as bass guitar stuff. I got a folding Hercules stand, an assortment of picks, a tube of Fast Fret, a fuzz pedal, an A/B switching pedal, 3 or 4 posters to put up in the music room (I got a pic of the Ogre one for howard), and the Boss GX-10 that I ordered a month ago.

Now that I can take the GX-10 out of the box, I can see how big of a board I’ll need to fit it all on. Atm, I’m thinking of going with the Temple, either the duo or trio 28.

The GX-10 I got myself from Sweetwater, the rest is random stuff I had sitting in my Amazon shopping list. We work off of those for Xmas and birthdays. There’s an element of surprise because we keep those lists updated with anything we see that looks interesting. Like mine has about 100 items in it at any given time. That way we don’t know exactly what the other person got us.
