I picked up a set of JBL 305âs this week to jam with my kiddo when she comes out (just run sound through those and use my amp as a sub). Running them TRS to XLR, dig the sound on them. I didnât even turn my amp on last night.

To get sound working from my laptop to the JBLâs I had to run them through control room on my mixer and Iâve just got my amp working through phones. Messing around with it, I tend to agree. Unless Iâm playing something that really needs that thump or that uses the B string on my 5, the JBLs can handle most of what I play perfectly.

You can also avoid the XLR adapter if you want because both the Control Room outs and the 1/4" ins on the monitors are balanced TRS. No advantage going from that to balanced XLR.

Yep, Iâm running them TRS out of the mixer to the XLR on the monitors. No adapter. I kinda hate adapters and avoid them as much as possible.
Edit: and I got 25â cables so I can move them around the room. Iâll pick up stands this week.

Yep, I just meant you could go with a cheaper cable if you want or need. TRS/TRS is fine too.

$1200 and no aux in? (Canât see from the manual if the send/return would give you this) Plus if youâre going to do a headphone jack then go 1/4â like the HX Stomp
