GAS - Gear Acquisition Syndrome (Part 2)

He’s definitely the king of trashy trance (that’s a compliment- I love that stuff as a guilty pleasure)

I’m really thankful noise cancelling headphones exist :joy: According to our cat trumpet seems to be better than violin actually :woman_shrugging:

I have a feeling that I hate all of them  I wouldn’t say C2C are the best DJs but overall working with vinyl and as a team looks like it needs more skill compared to the button pushing David Guetta and similar DJs do at concerts.

I needed to have a good amp to go with my new Bass, so here it is, the Rumble 40.

What a difference it make compare to the little Stagg 20W I had!!

Now I’m all set!

Picked up the Ray35HH I was talking about yesterday. Decided to test out the 5-string waters.

Brand new from a flipper on local marketplace. <$400 because it has a paint chip, and it needed the nut for the jack plug ($5 fix at music-go-round).

That paint chip is in the best of places - “where it won’t be seen”.

Also, looks like you need to add some more litter in that litter box.

Yes.

And yes.

(I don’t care about the paint chip. I’m going to forget it’s even there. Dunno if there’s anything I should do to treat it to prevent it from getting worse or anything though.)

Can’t see it? :man_shrugging:

I agree. What’s the problem with it?

You can leave it as is and call it relic’ed

Yeah the peeling plastic on the pickguard is normal and actually desirable - it means no previous owner ever realized that all new instruments come with the plastic protector and you are supposed to peel it off. There’s a brand new pickguard under that.

Also two different basses. One black and one in ahem sunburst.

But I can’t stop looking at the chic silhouettes on the wall.

I found some GAS relief in the form of an Ibanez GSR205.
I wanted to expand my sonic palette with a 5-string bass.
I found this listed on Facebook Marketplace in used-like new condition for just $145.
I played it again today and it feels and sounds great!
Our cat Marble also highly approves.
