Neck is misaligned, and without some pick guard work, it cannot be fixed. Another B stock Indonesian guitar that was passed though Fullerton receiving rather than going to the B stock clearance section. I have three B stock Tributes I purchased through G&L that have fewer flaws than the last four instruments I have returned; two each to Guitar Center and Reverb.
The two slight flaws on my Frost Black SB-2 have been reworked, so the only B stock blemish left on it is the ‘2’ stamped over the serial number.
Yes, all extruded plastics have a carrier film to protect them. Notice the misalignment of the strings on the neck pickup.
Extruded sheet plastics are flat, continuous plastic sheets produced through a high-volume manufacturing process where raw plastic pellets or granules are melted, mixed, and forced through a flat die to form a uniform sheet. This process is widely used for producing materials ranging from thin films to thick, rigid sheets, with applications spanning packaging, automotive, construction, signage, and medical industries.
No, there’s a misalignment. Look closely at were the strings cross both pickups. The neck is out of alignment, otherwise the A and D would be centered. The G is actually centered on the neck pickup, which is the obvious giveaway that there’s an alignment problem.
Here’s my issue, @2000 pounds there are tons of great options why this SR prestige a good choice for you.
To me the SR series doesn’t carry the same prestige as the BTB and spending 2k on it just feels wrong, like a $60000 Honda Civic, of course I’m not a big Ibanez guy. I have a few.
I would stack the premium SR’s up with the BTBs - some of the SR Premiums are extremely nice, and this is a Prestige, the next step up from a Premium. This is a very nice MIJ SR Prestige - I am not surprised by the price in any way.
what tuning device would you recommend to someone enjoying unnecessary accurate measuring devices? I really need to set up the intonation and I have trust issues with the options I have:
