Anybody who can should get one. I’m loving my 5-string. The tone and clarity are unreal. I was looking for that one bass that can do everything and this is it. Great balance and feel and a sound that makes you want to play all the time.

I’m really very happy with my two main ones @Tommydogg . Maybe a SBV at some point?

Apologies as I know this is the GAS thread but I’m delighted with the Baum Wingman. So nothing coming in the door for a while bass wise.

Fender have just got the lefty Am Pro ll Jazz back in stock……but not in Dark Night! I’m really trying to hold out but they’re making it tough

OK after the second rehearsal and some home milage - it still sounds and feels good, so I still recommend these cheap Harley Benton strings. Will see how they last but 10USD/package is insanely good value (especially vs the Warwick reds that suck big time for the same price).

Appropriately in the GAS thread, heh. If I hadn’t bought the Ray5HH back in December I’d be all over this one. I mostly use just the bridge pickup anyway, and I’m really digging the green. I’ve been considering a violin bass (been playing some Beatles lately) or J or PJ for my next one.

I agree, that’s a nice green.

DEAL GONE! When I clicked on the link the second time to recheck the green after looking at my seafoam green headless Ibby, MF had replaced the SDotD.

It’s back. That was weird. The URL said Stingray, but some goofy $500+ metal bracket was displayed.

There was a used Sparkle Purple version of this at my local GC and it was very nice and played beautifully. They still wanted like $850 or so for it.
