Thanks! I’m returning it. But I’m still curious as it seemed to do the opposite of what I was expecting.

I’m supposed to have a green sonic p bass on the way as well. Ordered the same time as this one. Tracking says label made but hasn’t shipped. I’m wondering if I’ll see that one.

I have a very similar one (you can see part of it in my profile pic). I like it! I’ve gotten a lot of complements on how it sounds from people far more knowledgeable than I. Mine is a bit heavy (for me) so at the moment I’m using a Yamaha P/J, but I really do like this bass.

They are nice. I seriously considered one and played one in the store a while. The pickup is not great but not terrible; I would swap it out. The overall feel and finish is fine, definitely a solid P-bass, about the same as a MIM Fender really.
IIRC the binding wasn’t really a binding but it still looks nice.
Overall seemed a really solid buy for the money.

OK. I stopped in a second hand store here in Japan and these two basses caught my eye.
More interested in the G&L so if anyone can enlighten me. Meanwhile, I’m going to try to talk myself OUT of buying either one.
