Good strap recommendation?

Hi everyone!
Looking for a comfortable strap… Anyone care to recommend theirs? Thanks in advance!

I like the Aircells. They fit some guitars better than others though. I have two of these.

… where are you approximately?

If you’re in Europe, you may like this one. I have one for two years now, and one on order.

Not sure how well it would work on a J but probably fine. Both of my basses have pretty prominent top horns. more than a J, which is the only difference I can see affecting things. The aircells padding starts about 10cm above the top horn strap button, so it wouldn’t work well for a bass like a Hofner or Gibson with a strap button that wasn’t as far up or forward.

I like this one…

Heavy padding, more width than the typical 2 inch guitar strap, and a good return policy. What’s best for one person isn’t best for everybody. That return policy will come in handy till you get the one that’s best for you.

+1 fir the KLIQ Aircell. I also use a Walker & Williams leather strap that I bought on Amazon.

This is the strap I got only recently: https://www.ibanez.com/eu/products/detail/bws90_01.html.
Seems fairly comfortable for now. They also have one with thicker padding.

That’s even better than the ones I have, @eric.kiser!

Both are 3" . . . one smooth black and the other brown suede.

I ordered the following strap as I had 2 requirements:
a) it had to be padded
b) it had to be vegan

Furthermore I got myself some strap locks as Greg dropped nearly 2 times already:

Schallers are great, I use them too.

I like this one since it has the easy adjust ability. It’s going to be my next strap purchase but I didn’t want to recommend it since I haven’t tried it.

That looks cool.

One I want to try is the GruvGear. Josh was recommending it a while back.

I have Levy’s Leathers 4" straps on both my basses. Very comfortable.

Some of these straps cost four times what I paid for the last bass I bought!

There was a similar strap inquiry thread started in Jan 2019 by Ezekielrfernando with some good info… one of the recommended brands (including Josh) was the Gruv Gear Neoprene DuoStrap. I got one back then and its been great. (3.25 width, helps with neck dive and very comfortable even for a few hours of playing)
