At this point I’m 99.9% sure I’ll get a black P with maple neck and switch the pickguard to get pretty much that stealth affect (at least on the main body lol).
- It’s neutral and will fit well with any music being made with it.

You could also get what is IMO the best looking Fender ever made, the MIJ special edition P-Bass Noir.
Despite my love for the pastels, IMO this is one of the best looking Fender instruments ever made. I love matte black.

A gold pickguard I think would also be a great mod - looks awesome with a maple neck and a burst.
With black, it’s really appealing!
