Hi, another newbie here. I’ve been learning bass for a little over a week now and I’m having a lot of fun so far. I’ve wanted to learn bass for a while and finally pulled the trigger. I’m in module 4 now learning to do string crossovers. After playing guitar for a few years now, the thing I’m most excited about at the moment is the symmetrical tuning of the bass.

Thanks, those definitely look helpful. I think motivation is the biggest issue though, I’m just not that interested in slap at this point and I have flat wounds on so even when I get a good strike it doesn’t sound great.
LoL! Yeah totally different set of concerns.
There have been a number of people who weren’t interested in slap and used finger style to complete that module and moved on. You can always go back to it later.
