Welcome to all new denizens of the subterranean abyss
Hi and welcome! Take your time, thereās no rush, unlike me who picked the bass up 6 months ago at the tender age of 66. For me there is a rush
As a newbie to the site as well welcome @VonMutig
Welcome from one of the other newbies to the site! I just purchased this weekend a Yamaha as well. Love the sound of it!
This makes this 54 year old quite pleased! Iāve really enjoyed pushing myself on this bass!
Welcome @canSambass
Yay! Itās nostalgic too as itās the bass I learnt on 2 decades ago! It does sound great and looks awesome too!
Great to have you here @canSambass
Hello Everyone, Iām from Germany and at the end of this month 44 years old.
Iāve never played an instrument as I was younger. One year ago I picked up a guitar, a gift Iāve owned for over a decade, and start playing to relax. It was great, I could forget the time and just enjoy the sound. Last week I watched a clip of Josh on YouTube, and I enjoyed his way of teaching. So I bought a cheap bass, did a setupāļø, and enrolled the course. I love the bass, I will concentrate now more on the bass and keep playing some cowboy chords on guitar.
Welcome @BozzerWolf
Great to have you here @BozzerWolf
Welcome to the Low End. I started years ago as a guitar playing hack. Never really improved and gave it up. I picked up a bass in a trade for some guitar gear and thought, ā4 Strings, gotta be easierā. Well it wasnāt but I did fall in love with the Low End. Now I am a bass playing hack. Not that good but getting better every time I play. This is a good, info filled forum with really good people. You will enjoy your time here.
Welcome @BozzerWolf !
Welcome @canSambass and @BozzerWolf !
Itās to early to agree to 100% with you, but I think I will go the same way. The first time Iāve played the E string it was like WOW! Never felt this intense sound from my guitarsā¦
Welcome, @BozzerWolf. Glad youāre here and digging the lessons. Enjoy!
