OMG I didnāt even think Iād find such a lovely forum when I signed up!
I was thinking about getting the lesson package and from what I read around itās totally worth it!
Iām Gio, Italian, 45 YO, living in Spain, working in UK (such a mess).
I used to be a singer and a writer, one day I attended a Chili Pepper concert, I was right under Fleaā¦ I understood that there are more funny ways to play the bass compared to what I had seen so far (how ignorant!). I bought my first bass to see if it would spark, I learned the basics and I fell in love! Itās time to improve and getting a new better one!

Dropping in to say helloā¦ I am considering getting the B-to-B course. Have always wanted to learn bass. I was at a very advanced- beginner stage bordering on intermediate for 6 and 12 string guitar some years agoā¦ but never took it to the next stage. I stopped practicing/ playing because life is what happened when I was busy working on other plans (apologies to Mr. Lennon.)
I want to pick up those old acoustic axes, but if I am going to put forth effort then why not on 4 strings now? Hence, me checking it out here.
My favorite band: The Beatles.
Favorite musician: George Harrison.
Favorite songs: While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
(yes, I am kindaā olde school)
In my opinion, Chris Squire and Geddy Lee should be on the āMount Rushmoreā of bassists- undecided on the other two.

The ābeginnerā aspects of this site appeal to me and I envision this journey being a new years resolution I could keep!
