Happy to be here. At 72 I’m considered a vintage human being I suppose. I live in Frostproof, Florida (yes, it’s a real place). Happily married for 42 years.
I’m left handed so of course I am learning on a left handed Fender P-Bass. If all that’s not tough enough I recently amputated my fretting finger (right index finger).
I’m an unrelenting hard-head so I’m going for it!

Hey there! I’m Zach. I’m 51 years old and have played guitar for about 35 years but never really learned proper music and theory. I just recently got interested in bass and am having more fun than I’ve had in years. I love the lessons and learning the instrument, but also the real musical knowledge along with it.

I hadn’t ever heard of the tanglewood brand, so i looked them up. If it’s one of the canyon series, those look like pretty nice equipment. Shame someone decided to modify it. But if it doesn’t affect play, I’d still play it.

Hi everyone,

I’m Dermot from London (the one in England)

Bought a Cort Action PJ bass some years ago (after seeing a review by @JoshFossgreen) but never learned to play it.

Having my Christmas plans torn up by COVID gave me unexpected spare time…and that bass was just staring at me…

Signed up to B2B a couple of days ago and starting module 8 right now - I’m a self taught guitarist from pre-YouTube days, and I think that has helped me move quickly through the course so far. Really enjoying it, and appreciate the nudges to read music and learn scales
