Welcome @DanW
Have fun!
Howdy and welcome @DanW !
Personally I really enjoy Rocksmith. Before B2B it was the best I’d done trying to learn bass. I feel like it does a petty good job with the way it starts off with stripped down versions of bass lines and works you up from there. The options to slow down and repeat sections that you want to focus in on is pretty rad. The one area it didn’t do great for me was left hand efficiency and fretting guidance. Hopefully you will enjoy it too!
Hi Welcome @DanW !
Welcome @DanW ! You’ve made a great decision getting bassbuzz. Compound that with your decision to get a stingray in your hands, and it seems to me you are well on your way!
Welcome @DanW !
A very good choice! That’s the bass I started with and I still use.
As for Rocksmith/Yousician and alikes… they are good to pratice while playing songs. I don’t know about Rocksmith, but Yousician has different levels of difficulty, so you can adapt to your skill.
Welcome @DanW !

Hope this works.
Hello All, I’m a born again bass player after about 13 years of straying from the path.
I played for a bit as a teen and a few more while in my twenties, but nothing consistent.
Now that I got my bass back from a friend I figured I would start over a bit more properly which led me here. Like I heard Josh phrase in one of his videos “Best time to start was twenty years ago, second best time is now”.
Welcome to the family
B2B course is a lotta fun, enjoy.
Welcome, @Car_J. Glad you’re here. Follow Josh’s lead and you’ll be thumping properly in no time. Enjoy!
