Hi! My name is Martin, I’m 45 y.o. This summer I was inspired to dust off my old bass after 25 years. Back then we played in the basement, and only our own music - it was easier than learning to play someone else’s. I hope that this course will help me dealing with other people’s compositions.

Looking forward to this!

Hello everyone. I’m 50, living in The Netherlands. When I was a teen I saw Mark King on MTV and decided I wanted to play bass as well. That somehow never happened, but my interest never wavered. After going to some concerts recently and only having eyes and ears for the bass players minding their own business in the corners of the stage, I decided I wanted to be ‘quietly cool’ as well. :joy: Since now is as good a time as any, I bought some starters setup and here i am. I don’t have high expectations of myself and somehow most of the songs I’d really like to play are seen als beginner songs, so I’ll probably be easily satisfied with my results. (I signed up for the course months ago but started today.)

Welcome, @NeuroticBalance. Glad you’re here. The best time to learn bass is when you actually pick it up and do it, so you are right on time. Enjoy the lessons!
