Hi all!
I’m Joan from Catalonia, so english is not my mother language.
I’m 45 started five years ago “repairing” a guitar and trying to learn using rocksmith but I find is not my instrument.
2023 christmas was music christmas to my daughters, and finally bought me a bass after trying one.
And now I’m here starting to learn again.

Hey guys! My name is Dalys, I am a 29-year-old guy from Venezuela who likes music and wanted to learn how to play an instrument a long time ago.
Bass and drums caught my eye and my girl gave me an acoustic bass guitar as an anniversary gift last November and now I’m trying to do my best to impress her, lol
I hope I can learn a lot from you and maybe share my knowledge with new beginners who also want to play this amazing instrument in the future.

Hi Ted, I can relate to your tradjectory. I am 68 in a couple of months, playing guitar on and off since 11 yrs old with millions of unhelpful habits.
I picked up my first bass in the autumn of 2023, wanted to avoid the bad habits trap this time. I jumped on to Josh’s course immediately and haven’t looked back since. I now perform with some very nice guys and I’m having great fun. I find it useful to have occasional lessons with a human in the room to iron out the creases.
