I do enjoy the lessons soooo much. The way Josh is teaching is just brilliant and I already see and feel that my playing got faster and cleaner. That was one good decision to join the B2B course (giving myself a pat on the back right now).
Hi All. I’ve taken the plunge and subscribed to the course…
Decades ago, I was in a band and loved playing those little pub gigs but I was never anything more than a beginner/intermediate player. With a little more time off work, it’s time to start again, blow the cobwebs off my trusty old bass and learn the technique properly.
I’ve spent a few years trying to learn lead/rhythm guitar but my ambition exceeds my abilities. Plus, I always hum along with the bass line, not the guitar line.
There’s nothing quite like the rumble of a good bass line!
Will I get in a band again??? Not yet but one day soon

Welcome, @mikey. First of all, great name! Secondly, enjoy the lessons!
Hey everyone, I decided to be brave and introduce myself
I used to play a lot of Bass / Guitar / Saxophone when I was a teenager but pretty much stopped through my 20’s. I decided to get back into bass specifically but had a ton of bad habbits to work on, so I thought the course would be perfect for ironing those out and improving my technique.
It’s nice to meet you all! The community here seems really friendly so I’m looking forward to posting here more in the future!
Welcome @mikey2000 And @AliceB

Hi,
I am new to B2B and have just passed module one. I am impressed.
Some fact about myself. Being a 73 years old woman from Sweden, I am not a typical bassplayer,. Are there any other senior female player in this forum?
The bass I play is a ukulele bass (Kala ubass). For the last year I have tried to play with an ukulele group, but I am too much of a beginner. But I hope this course will change that.
I have played the piano and sung in choirs all my life, so reading music is not an issue for me.
Happy to be part of this forum.
Cheers,
Margareta

When someone suggested that this guy should get a violin bass, he kinda misunderstood.
