Off topic..who is stoked to see Dune?

In the book he’s a teenager, 15 years old at the start.

Kyle Maclachlan (sp) was too old for the role in the older version but captured the charisma.
Timothy whatsisname was a little too bland.
Remember he was noble born but not arrogant, BG trained and so a reader of people who could see the wheels within wheels of their motivations, he was also the end product of 10,000 years of focused breeding with a specific goal in sight.

So like Prince William? Got it thanks.

I get more of a Fenring vibe from William.

Only for the Hans Zimmer soundtrack

Aren’t the British Royals basically Dutch with a bit of German thrown in for taste?

As in most things regarding European history it’s a bit complicated.

It’s easy for Australia. You’re so young when people ask how old the country is you just look at your watch.

It’s a mix of British, German, Danish, Dutch etc with some Russian cousins thrown in.

Well apparently there have been a few Aussies with legitimate and not so legitimate claims to the throne over the years also.

Please show your workings on this

Just one, this guy apparently did have a ‘claim’
Michael Abney-Hastings, 14th Earl of Loudoun - Wikipedia

There was another I can’t find which was a bit dodgy.

This guy reckons he is Charles’ love child:

I didn’t say they were all good claims

Thanks for that never heard that before.

TBH I think the whole thing is bobbins and they’re all a bunch of time wasters. Glad to be out of it all.

Meh, it sells tea towels and commemorative mugs every coupla decades

Have you renamed it “Kingsland” yet? Need to change all the maps

Nah, it’s Straya: “Always was, always will be” or so they keep telling us

Could you check, if there are Aussies that have a claim to the Dutch throne?
I am totally NOT happy with our current king!

For some time I wished that prince Harry could take over - we lended a king to England (William III), so I hoped that England could return the favour.
But now Harry became a wuss too, so we don’t want him anymore.

Our queens tend be be really great (especially Wilhelmina and Juliana, but also Beatrix), but our kings mostly s#ck.
My personal opinion is that all leaders of countries should be female - we would be better off!

Well Harry the Handbag does have the correctly coloured hair.

Also he had a similar kind of humour to mine, when it comes to party outfits
But let’s not get into that, not everybody gets it!

Well, you have a queen now:
