Post your covers! (2023)

sounds awesome!
I see Amplitube 5 mentioned quite often, probably a no brainer me getting while it’s only £50 right?
or the Zoom B1 Four? :man_shrugging: or both? :joy:

While B1four’s are an excellent buy, the amp and cab sims in Amplitube are far, far better than the ones in the Zoom units.

Well it’s great for recording any kind of guitar, plenty of amp/cab/pedals/mics/room simulations.
I don’t need anything else besides my DAI and Amplitube 5 for recording/practising.

And a pair of good headphones. I use Shure SRH840A.

Ah, probably grab Amplitube for now then :slightly_smiling_face:
yay, another learning curve… :joy:

Sweet! Ordering a new DAI shortly
Got some pretty nice Yamaha monitor headphones :slightly_smiling_face:

SSL 2, seems highly regarded, and I like that everything goes in/out at the back, keeps things neat(ish) on my limited desk space

I liked mine a lot! In terms of preamp quality, one of the two best audio interfaces in the sub-$500 price tier, along with the MOTU. Really excellent mic/instrument preamps.

Plus, it goes to 11. (literally  )

MOTU caught my eye too, but SSL 2 it is :slightly_smiling_face:

but erm… Saturday 21th? :thinking::joy:

Love it @Ed
The Hofner’s twangy, ever so slightly out of tune thing, that only Hofners can do, really really works here. Fantastic

That’s nice and tight @robbp you do this types of songs with walking bass lines really well. You have a great sense of timing. Like your style.

That’s the best cover production of the year so far @Barney. You definitely have thought about the sequence of the scenes. I’d love to be able to edit like that, lol.

I love the song and the tone of that short scale, but your enthusiasm just takes the cake. Kudos.

Oh yeah man you got it. As soon as I have some time to lay one down.

That’s an old cover from Aug 2022 @Al1885 . Someone had watched my last cover by Alabama and had never heard of them. So I said they have some catchy tunes and posted it as an example of some upbeat stuff ie ‘I’m in a hurry’
