I completely forgot how fantastic this song is, and you did a fantastic job with it @JustinAndSheba
Maybe a bit too much brightness in your tone for my tastes but damn if you did not nail it.
Made my day, great great great.
I gotta learn this tune now.

To me this goes in our hall of fame, wow!!!

no phase … lots of chorus on the guitar, but the bass was a modified Rickenbacker 4004 thru a bass pod into an ampeg bass amp, miked with a sm57 recorded live from a pa send to the inear system

Great job @cheeze_pizza I think the choice of using a pick is a great one. It really stood out in the mix. A little hiccup at the last break but you recovered beautifully. I like how laid back you are in the song, at some spots your playing is spot on just a slight drag where the notes really pop.

I played this song and Pour some sugar on me in highschool and I remember the hours of practicing both songs. This brings back good memories.

That’s a fun one, I like the bass track solo in the middle. That’s not my genres but this song is very catchy and fun. Keep it coming.

Love this song, that’s some solid playing and the time is great. I like the outtro. I like how the bass lines go in and out of syncopation very interesting and the drums really make this song fun. Great one @dlamson13

Hey man that’s some music @Lieutax. you’ve got all of the technical parts down, which is the hard part. You just have to let the notes sing under your fingers and that takes some time. Fastest way to get there is to speed up the tempo of the song say 10%, you’d be dragging all the way but after a few runs you’ll get better at it. Once you are back at normal speed. You’ll be more at ease on the technical parts.

These songs are quite technical it’s great that you put in the effort and shred.

That’s masterful @JerryP your microshift is buttery smooth. Love the groove. Never heard that song before but definitely be practicing that song now. Sounds like a great warm up song.

Great one @Ed, that’s fun. I love the song. The whole time I’m watching the cover I’m thinking if I play that song with a pick I’d be looking at my right hand the whole way through, lol. I love Boston, they usually have pretty busy bass lines which we love. One of my warm up song is Amanda. It has a lot of notes for a slow song, lol.

That’s Gig ready @Ek_Bass, actually that’s what I usually do before a song, take a sip of H2O, lol. Timing and finger tone are spot on.

LOL, love the light switch bit. The double stops are awesome. If you slow down the video you can see the strings oscillating. That’s pretty hard hitting bass lines. Very entertaining.
