The weird thing is I do spend way more time gaming than I should - just not Rocksmith

Would be nice if the interface listed the note names. Then it would be really useful.

 I can SO, SO relate to this!!! Thanks @Barney, I needed a good laugh!!

I don’t play games - don’t have any machines, although my adult grandkids do and I “try” to play with them at times. I get frustrated, they laugh at me because I’s so bad at them but at least we all have fun together…

So true,…. But it’s still hard for me to wrap my hands around watching a TV set video game to play music to…. Like I mentioned earlier, what ever floats yer boat…:grin:. I guess video games just don’t float mine…:upside_down_face:

Sounds like it might be time for the B2B course @DeadPixels??? I do have to say that it is very hard for me to watch any covers that have what appears to be a Guitar Hero screen flashing in front of me. I personally like to watch the person playing bass than playing what appears (to me) a game…

Already up to module 3  haha.

I probably can just drop that source from the scene I guess  but for the time being, just been the easiest way to record something :slightly_smiling_face:
Didn’t even have an amp until yesterday :joy:
Now I’m having ground loop issues connecting it to the audio interface… Nothing is ever simple

You’re doing fine, just keep doing you

@DeadPixels I forgot the features already. How do you record the cover through Xbox. Thanks

Nice job @JerryP! I like the intro, I know its only one note, but you got that rolling timing right.

Hey, who approved that? JK, safe travels, and enjoy your studies

Love these live songs.

James Taylor Up On The Roof Live from Beacon Theater

I tried to make everything in one recording take for more organic feel, since it’s a mash up video, obviously the feel got lost a bit but here we are, lol. I did have to stitch the end as I messed up there, lol.

Line up
The Faux Dart Mod Sterling Joe Dart, Delano Pickup and Sonar xPure Preamp
EBMM Joe Dart II
Fender Reissued 75 Jazz bass 2001 with Fralin Split Coil pickups and Preamp

Edit: YouTube said it’s been blocked so let’s see if it plays. It’s funny it plays on 2 of my devices.

not 100% sure on xbox, could try this way…

if not, then you’ll probably need a USB hdmi capture device, something like

and record it through obs.

welcome to message me if you need help with it :+1:

@Al1885 you make me want a fretless

They are really fun. You can pickup a Roque unlined fretless for $100 new or a squier lined fretless for about $250. I have both and they are really good to starter fretless.

Just lovely @Al1885 another song I don’t know. I love everything about that cover.
