Mayer Hawthorne - Deeper Vibration
Another MH entry! I’m about halfway done with the album at this point. This particular tune only has two bass riffs, and the main riff is a bit busy so it required some time practicing at lower speeds. Once again I’ve found Transcribe! to be excellent for this. I think I’ll be ponying up the money for that app after all!

Digging in is fun for sure, and an all fretless AL cover is such a treat! Lovely instruments and playing. I really like the punchy bottom end on that Sterling.

More fun with the Ampero One, this time trying to get the bass guitar to sound a bit like a bass synth.
This song is the wonderful ‘Down in the Park’, by Gary Numan. Super-easy to play, this cover was more about noises I could make, than anything else. Oh, that and embarrassing my daughter once again, this time with a request to shoot a video in the local park. She was mortified!
