That was the bridge I crossed by posting myself on vocals
So is this a bad place to poke the GAS badger and suggest an in ear monitor setup?
Speaking off, my tribute for the week. I’m still trying to work the bloody twang out of the D string, not sure what’s going on there aside from basic newb. I’m almost about to go back to the Ernie Balls.
Goo Goo Dolls - Name
Got em, I’m not sure how well they will last, I have tiny ears, I have the smallest tips on (I bought the extra memory foam set) and even jamming them in as hard as possible the bit that’s supposed to sit against your ear, doesn’t even get in it. sigh
They do at least just about stay wedged long enough to play.
Love the watch-check at :48 or so
lol, I had a sudden panic I’d forgotten to start the recording again
This is interesting. I am the last person to ever call out sustain as important, but your TRBX has better sustain than the bass in the original, @Morkai
I distinctly remember the bass in the chorus in the original starting its fade at the end, and yours loses basically no volume. I like it.
then I am the second last person
I swear that’s something to do with the Scarlett, it’s nowhere near as good through the amp. I do love it though
In the spirit of the Independence Day later this week let do one.
Independence Day by Martina McBride
The Final Cut Pro iPad Pro Version 2 is a bit glitchy but I managed to finish editing it.

@Whying_Dutchman on the second Verse I put the Single and Dual coil mode comparison you can check it out how it stays in the mix.
Thanks @Al1885 ! I actually have some Black Beauties on the Thunderbird at the moment and they sound seriously good. Totally recommended
Love the black beauty feel. It’s perfect on your thunderbird.
Inhave one on my Sterling SB14.
Great job my friend!
To go through the whole song and play perfectly only to realize the camera wasn’t rolling WILL in fact unleash “Popeye”
Awesome brother!
It’s your nail(s). I kept mine pretty short because my angle of attack can be pretty flat and it twang out sometimes.
Btw, someone messaged you in the middle of the cover?
I’ve learned to set my notifications to OFF haha
Hmmmmm … very nice … with a little creative use of my dremel I could install that EMG on the J position of Pink’s Hot - replacing the Dimarzio J pickup.
BUT … while I said many times that I am not a fan of the J pickup in general, I have a more nuanced opinion now (after a lot of fumbling): with just the right amount in the mix (P/J: 80/20 or 90/10?) it sounds cool.
The J pickup gives the tone some grid, that especially the DP126 needs. I needed to learn that from experience, I guess.
So no need to replace (yet)
Not my kind’a music, but great playing!
I still think the challenge is to play every bass you have over one song / one video
