Nice bro!
Nice job on this!
Ha, that would require me to have some sort of creative juice, I am good at copying… not so much creating.
Funny thing ist that @JerryP inspired me to look into Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s “Over The Rainbow” (the version with the “What A Wonderful World” extension).
This has no explicit bass line … but is so simple (and slow) that you can just go with the flow with easy notes first, and than get more playful. And it always sounds great, guaranteed!
It’s not really “creating”, but a proud first step to improvising along the song. And great fun, really.
Very nice Gonna have to stick this in my rotation as well.
I was living in Hawaii when Bruddah Iz passed on (holy smokes, I was in my early 20s then). There was a big celebration of life in Honolulu shortly after wit 10K+ people there.
Can imagine - his “aura” was something of Buddha Iz…
That opening is so iconic, you nailed it!
Awesome
Very very nice but what about your pinky
Great !
But I juste realised your Dingwall has only 4 strings …
I find four hard enough to handle…
I would 100% go for a 4-string Dingwall too
Nice
Great filter !
What a nice oxymoron
If (when …) I buy a Dingwall, it will a be a 5 !
An awful lot can be done by just finding out the chords and playing arpeggios around them (to fit the rhythm of the song obviously).
PLEASE, let’s not mutate this topic into a 4 vs 5 (vs 6) discussion
I’m simply admiring your excellent taste in Dingwall
it would be useless as we certainly all know which is better
I put it in timeout until the solo. That’ll teach him…
