Nope, just fat fingers. Apologies. :flushed:

Well that would be an easy decision for me. Both!! :stuck_out_tongue:

Since I can do it I assume anyone can, but if you want one @Morkai just send me both videos I’ll do it with pleasure.

Slabo Day - Peter Green

The song is 2 chords Am and F. The bass line is actually a single riff played over Am-G-F for the entire song. The challenge was playing the riff and dead notes matching the intensity of the song.

“Slabo Day” is a bluesy instrumental track originally performed by Peter Green, a British blues-rock guitarist and founder of the band Fleetwood Mac.

Great work @JerryP as always. I knew the 80s version and kind of liked it as a secret guilty pleasure (my metal friends would not have approved). The original is always better though

@401Blues - good job with such a simple bassline! And that is a sweet instrument you have there

It being Sunday, I was thinking of relaxing and trying a cover of the Hollies. However, while experimenting with the POD, I found the punch amp setting was very Steve Harrisy, especially if you boost the mids and add compression, and I thought it was time to finally put my cover of The Trooper to bed.

This had been sitting in my Moises queue for quite some time because it is, like all Maiden tracks, pretty intimidating. The speed is really full on, and you have to sustain a fair bit of aggression with the pick throughout the song. However, it’s not too bad once you get into the groove, and the bassline itself is pretty easy to learn. There is probably no way you can play this fingerstyle unless you have hands like bunches of bananas.

As always the Squier did a fantastic job - the combination of DR dragon skins and the GZR pickups probably helped.

Ed will return in Phantom of the Opera by Iron Maiden

Nice job, @JerryP ! My first exposure to this song was from Tiffany during the '80s. Took my younger self a while to realize it was a cover!

Nice one @401Blues ! Love some old school Peter Green. Pretty cool how he named the band for his rhythm section!

Whoa, nice cover @ed!
