Nice work @Ed loved it
I only know that song from watching the TV show Jackass. It’s now on my job site playlist.

You know I love a good Cure cover! Good job. I think this might be the first cover you’ve posted on here since I started posting on here.
Didn’t @howard do a Sisters of Mercy song a few months ago?
I think that was about a year ago ![]()
Not a chance my friend, I was around for it and I didn’t start posting here until January (and lurked for a month or two before that).
Ahh it was two years ![]()
I probably reposted it as an example of something recently.
Here’s a list of the stuff my bandmate and I have covered:
Great sound and respect for the everesting💪
I’ve tried it indoor and got bored, than I’ve tried it on my home hill (350hm) and made it to 2500hm before I gave up. I hate riding down hill…
Great job Ed! Love it when you feature the Hofner!
Very well done saroohoo!
I don’t memorize the songs (too old). The tabs are always within arm’s length. ![]()
Awesome production on this Howard! Enjoyed it.
So cool @howard, it sounds great
There’s something about some of the tones in there that makes me think of the Twin Peaks theme.
I’ve just realised I can beam tabs to my TV for easier long-distance viewing, that should help
I’d still like to get better at memorising though.
I’m doing something similar. I display the tab on the computer monitor and use a foot switch to turn the pages. Works great!
I wish I can use that on Moises app on iPad but it doesn’t work. I have the Boss FS-1 WL.
False start last time, here we go again…
@Morkai Three Days Grace - I hate Everything About You
Growl for days and days! Some timing things to work on but that comes with time and more practice. Nice job otherwise.
Well done man! Love the tone and everything about this
link did not work
I love watching people find their ‘groove’ - been fun listening and watching you play these songs I’ve never heard before. This was damn perfect. You and @dlamson13 and @Johnnyb are truly the poster boys for why doing the 50 song challenge is so useful!
You couldn’t possibly have more fun playing bass if you tried.
Great job.
Thanks fo trhe kind words, and glad our stuff helps!
Overall great job! Some minor things to work on but overall great.
Give your bass a bit more gain, or sort out a compressor plugin to keep your bass volume more even keeled. We want to hear you, don’t hide it in the mix.
Very fun song to cover!
I really don’t like this guy, but like the bassline. You made it sound ominous, lol!
LOVE IT! - I forgot about this tune, thanks for the reminder!
hey @Ed - nice to see you!!
terrific job here, love it!
sweet arm swings!!
badass tapping dude!!
Best cover of late prize!!!
Timing much better on this one, way to go!
Few blips as you look back and forth from music to bass - try to learn the parts by heart that are hand transitions so you don’t have to look at that point to keep the groove. Really good job overall!!
![]()
great chugging man!
Playing is just solid dude, solid
Really like this one, great job
Most prolific coverer prize!
Another winner!
Proof music is and should be fun!
Well done, didn’t notice anything was wrong or forgotten
Always great to see an @Ant cover - just great man!
exceptional playing and tone etc
Very nice!
keep an eye on note length in the slow parts.
I don’t know how you bop back and forth and play, I cannot do it - nope!
Really liked this one, you improve by leaps and bounds each cover.
Phew - finally to July!!!
This makes me want that Joe Dart bass to come quick now!
Fantastic as always, nice to see you playing man.
Now you’re speaking my high school years!
![]()
Video was way off timing for me, maybe my system?
Sound was fab-u-lous, great job!
WOW!!!
Just - WOW!!!
You are in the pocket!
Great job
Well done @JerryP, even if not on a Bass VI, played annoyingly by John Lennon ![]()
Nice slides indeed!
You are not kidding about tone - WOWOWOWOW - that sure fits in perfect!
Is that a 34 or a EBMM?
Just amazing job all around.
Are you trying to audition for the bass spot in this band?
Dude, you could take it on no problem.
Bam! Excellent
The only thing that would make this better is if you got @howard to do all the synths ![]()
I loved this album in high school.
That bass sits in the mix really well, perfect tone.
Awesome job.
Hmmm, snuck that one by the copyright police!
Well done - you are showing me my Dingwall that I pick up tomorrow is quite versatile in tone
Great job!!!
Still some timing issues but fewer and fewer!!
Been a while since we saw your head, welcome back
Great laid back bassline man.
Perfect!
Some timing issues in the beginning but otherwise excellent.
Go Aerodyne tone!
Great job - these should go in the Practice Fragment thread thou
Nailed it - and that Steinberger bass is THE bass for this song, great tone!!!
yep, Aerodynes rock!
Great great great job on this - sound and mix and playing are perfect!
Kudos!!!
Really really liked this one, great job!
well i had no idea this existed - WOW - great job on a great song that was just added to my playlist
Stopping for the night cause I’m seeing double

Man o man this sounds so damn good @Paul_9207 !!!
Fantastic camera and editing work!
What settings did you use on the bass to get such a great tone??
More soon…
Wow @John_E thats the catch up of the year. I just caught up last week and last I looked I had 70 more posts.
Which Joe Dart did you get?
She wouldn’t have to charge much - she could make it up in volume! ![]()
Thank you so much John!
Thanks for the kind works John!
I honestly have no idea. I tend to record with everything neutral and then I mess around with the plug ins until it sounds right for the song.
Thank you, @JerryP. That Ibanez is surprisingly gnarly for something so modern and pink ![]()
Thanks, @Paul_9207!
Thanks @saroohoo! It’s all done in iMovie on my phone. Basically, the background is picture of Planet Earth (now there a song!!) that I cartoonified, then I overlayed me playing bass - there a ‘green screen’ function where you can remove the background. I had previously increased the exposure etc on that video to blow out most of the shadows on the white wall I had as the backdrop.
I know, it’s getting expensive!! ![]()
Thank you @BozzerWolf! Everesting is a rather strange thing!!! I think you have to be slightly nuts to try it!!
. Indoor and outdoor both have their unique challenges, and boredom is certainly one of them when doing a virtual! It’s funny you mention the down hill bit, we did quite a lot of research to find quiet hills that had a non-technical, more or less straight descents. A technical descent, in the dark, after 20 hours / 8,000m would be frightening!
