great job, you look really comfortable and have great control over the instrument for not having played for very long! really well done.
well done as always! cool shirt!
That sounded great! Nice and deep. Great looking bass also!
Thanks!
Yeah - the Dimarzio pickups are made for this kind of sound. It took some back & forth to make those pickups work properly, but now I’m 100% happy!
You guys are awesome.
Very very well done, love the tone. you have been doing great of late!!
Check out this guy for “I wonder how you do…xxx” - he covers everything…
I learned from @PamPurrs and then him.
This was da bomb!
Superb chugging @sunDOG
I am really sensitive to timing issues, and, i hate to tell you, I didn’t notice any.
Never point out your mistakes to people who don’t notice them.
Fantastic job on this, truly!
Good Grief Charley Brown - that was spot on!
Nice job, a little more funk feel and little less white guy (I have the same affliction! Lol). The funk is a feeling, try to let go a bit and give in to it. you are really close.
Ah that intro riff!
Such a great song.
you played really well.
Perhaps time to get a DAI and get your sound better so we can hear your excellent playing even better.
Really well done.
And with the first note!
perfect tone and chugging!
Whatever that bass is it sounded perfecto, as did the playing.
Awesomeness @JerryP
“Nowhere to run to baby, no where to hide” - slow and exposed is a really good way to check your playing, and you were GREAT.
Tone is amazing as well.
Feel better man!
Thanks, Paul_9027! I started pushing myself with a more challenging song (What’s Gong On), but I think that will have to be a longer term project as its too fast for me in a lot of places. So maybe I work on that one a little bit each day while leanring easier songs along the way. Thanks for listening!
Thanks for listening to it and for the kind words of encoruagement! I love that song. Yes, definitely time for me to get a DAI and to get familiar with the garageband software. Especially after listening to everyone’s else’s quality sound. I’m working on that now as it’s become a little more pressing as I’m driving my family members nuts with the bass thumping coming out of the bedroom especially during homework time or when they’re practicing piano!
Glad to hear you are finally gelling with them! Easily my favorite aftermarket pickups but yes they are more focused on an aggressive mids tone than otherwise. Still, in my opinion they are one of the best choices out there.
There’s only one P pickup I like more (the stock Yamaha SBV one) and those are more and more difficult to obtain.
Love tunes where you can here the bass! Nice job Justin 3. Who is your chilling body on your shoulder?
Jerry, show em how it’s done! Nice!
Thank you Paul!
