Great cover, very cool song - haven’t heared the live version for a long time too.
I use the studio version as a warmup, and always silently sing “Give me a reason to be a woman. I just want to be a woman”, much to my girlfriend’s pleasure.
How did you manage not to do that?

Great job @sunDOG I’ve got this one down and ready to record (working on Strangers also, which is just a banger to play). I just focused on the new Cure one first. I dig that this one comes out sounding mellower than the studio version, although I think to do that, they get rid of my favorite part of the bassline (the octaves).

Your friend needs an up beat separation song too. My Separation Theme Song is “Too Sweet by Hozier”
I also considered I AM NOT OK by Jelly ROLL. Love the sound and message which resonated with me but needed something more upbeat to move me along.
