Fantastic. Yeah that bridge took me forever and I was really nowhere near it.
Great tune to learn though

Great job TMB!
Thanks brother Jerry!
“That was outstanding Dan! I thought I was listening to the original! great job!”
It was very good, in fact I thought he was a 6th Jackson brother haha
That’s awesome! And is your parrot falling asleep on your shoulder? He looks like he’s about to keel over.
You guys are all so good. You look so relaxed while playing.
So good. Now that’s groovy!
Sheba’s 45 years old and over my bullshit, so she just likes to crash out sometimes during the videos. She’s also in her molting season so she’s not as peppy as she might be. If you check out some of the other videos on the channel you’ll see that she’s not always so chill…lol.
Nice job. That’s a really fun song to play.
Especially with you playing it! Nice job on an iconic bass line Dan, loved it!
Nice cover cover, Trav!
Thanks @NeuroticBalance ! I decided to not try making cover videos the instant I learned how to play a song, which is really tempting to do. I probably played this one at least 50 times before making this video, which goes a long way towards seeming relaxed!
Thanks amigo, hey if you’re gonna do a cover, make it a COVERED COVER I always say
I sang that many times in our worship band. Great song!
Sedated by the Ramones. Once a punk, always a punk. Unlike Johnny and DeeDee Ramone, I am not using a pick and the famous down stroke. I use this song to condition my plucking hand until my nail polish melts off, and yes, I notice the flaws in the recording just when my plucking fingers get tired. Need to do more conditioning. lol I promise I will get familiar with my focusrite scarlet and ableton live software in my new birth year… This punk turns 65 coming Tuesday. I share my birthday with Johnny Ramone LOL.
Fantastic playing, @dlamson13!
Can’t beat a bit of punk, @Silvia, well done!
Today’s offering is the 1993 dance classic. Mr. Vain by Culture Beat. The female lyrics describe the narcissist of the title, while the rap embodies his selfish desires.
Culture Beat - Mr. Vain
Dingwall - Ampero One - GarageBand
I played the bass line 6 times, applying different treatment to each to get the tone I wanted
Comments welcome!
45 years… she’s seen things. How long has she’s been with you?
I adopted Sheba in July of 2018. I previously had another Amazon parrot named Ruffles from 1992 until he passed away in 2017. I was very lucky to be able to get Sheba because a few years after she moved in, her previous family’s house burned to the ground, and then a year or so later the lady of the house, Tammy, was killed in a car accident. She grew up with Sheba and was about the same age. Sheba is also partially disabled because at some point in her life she suffered a wing injury and is missing part of her bones in that wing. I was told that at one time in the early 80s she was locked in a room with dogs, and I think something happened to her during that time. The people I got her from claimed that they “didn’t know” about the condition of her wing, which is literally impossible. She was fed an inadequate diet and basically ignored for most of her life. Since she’s been with me, she’s fed proper pelleted food along with fresh vegetables and fruit, always has toys and treats, and she pretty much lives on my shoulder full time…lol. So yes, she has seen things and luckily was able to avoid almost certainly dying in a house fire.
Well done Silvia!
Great job sunDOG!
