Thank you, maybe it’s because I’m a bit of a space case :grinning:

Thank you and I completely agree. Buncha ne’er do wells running around this joint.

Thank you, in North America at least I think Blur were really only considered a one hit wonder with Song 2 (the woohoo song) which really misses so much good music. 13 has some excellent music on it that I intend on covering at some point too (like Battle and Caramel).

Thank you Dude, check out 13 and their best of album if you want to dig in a bit. The one song folks in the states know them for really does the band a disservice imo, they were so much better than the other Britpop stuff going on at the time.

@TheMadBassist This one is for you

This was my 3rd try at this tune, so there are a couple sketchy bits. :stuck_out_tongue:
And DAMN the funky tuning!! Dropped C (CGCF)!!

Animal I Have Become - Three Days Grace

A couple more runs, I should have this one down tight

Thanks Jerry! Both are a right hand work out for sure.

Thanks Ed! Yeah except for the bridge, I alternated a bit there. It sounded more aggressive and “punk” downpicked, but the tempo was daunting at first.

Thanks Sara! I leaned on my guitar playing days a bit and eventually managed to get up to speed, but doesn’t feel natural to me like fingerstyle.

Thanks Andrea! Sass is a super talented singer and songwriter from Canada, but for whatever reason she didn’t have much cross-over success in the US. This song comes from a 1994 album called Rats. The whole thing is great. Fun fact, Taylor Hawkins was her drummer before joining Foo Fighters

Well I guess 10th times the charm John! Sounding really good, you’re well on your way to the 50 song challenge if you decide to give it a go.

I’m picking off a few from the 50

Right now the list of songs I am working on is at 18 :stuck_out_tongue: LMAO

edit: - A couple of them are ‘project songs’ ( as in they are gonna take some actual WORK to get done ) … Like Schism, and Hysteria…

That bottom end string was soooooo loose… had to play it a lot lighter… or it was just clanking around all over the place… LOL!!!

Those strings are so loose it’s like a chubby hubby shedding some weight but still wearing suspenders without the adjustments lmao

cool thing about tuning that low … it takes like ZERO pressure to fret notes! … hell a gentle breeze would play a Gmaj scale FFS!!
