You have special connection with music and don’t ever give that up.
Well Good Buzzers, I just shattered my old record so much so that the System won’t let me post the entire replied to the thread, Too many words, bet I was the first to discover that
I want to genuinely thanks each and everyone of you who participate on this thread as some of you may know that I’ve been off the bass for the last few months due to side effect of my illness. My eyes can’t focus properly. It’s getting much better but as I get better I use more of it and it not speeding up my recovery as fas as it should.
I spent the last few months in the Realm of Audio, specifically IEMs and headphones. Clearly there’s a disconnect here. Those Audiophiles are into Sounds, and we Musos are into Music.
I thoroughly enjoyed all of your videos and the passion I could feel through your music playing. I feel so privileged to be a part of this community. Imma grab my bass and close my eyes and start playing again. Collectively, you may have heeled me
That must have been an absolute marathon watch session, @Al1885. Kudos to you for making it through, and I am sure that I speak for everyone that posts covers here, when I thank you for your thoughtful comments. As you say, this forum is something special, in that you seldom, if ever, see negativity. Just support and encouragement as we all navigate our personal journeys, bass or otherwise.
On a personal note, I do hope you are now feeling better and are firmly on the road to recovery.
Al, I can’t thank you enough for taking the time to watch all of the covers on here. I really appreciate what you wrote and it means a lot to me coming from such.a great bassist. I feel really encouraged and energized to keep going. I hope you have continued improvement on your illness.
What? you don’t think Conan and Karl Marx belong on the same shelf?
Fair play to you Al, I admire your dedication watching and commenting on all of these videos. And thank you for your kind words of encouragement.
I do hope you continue your recovery, we’ve missed you being around. Get well soon!
