Thank you Dan ![]()
Happy Friday! Lets make it Foo Fighter Friday
This is such a great song, and fun to learn.
Great song, great playing ![]()
Beautiful played! And great tone!
Great cover! I always enjoys hearing and watching covers from The Cure songs.
No one would judge you. Robert Smith himself used to go out to pubs wearing his pyjamas, when he hung out with Steve Severin. He was always a non conformist, so he thought it would be a cliche if he wore black there like everybody else. ![]()
Great cover! I love the dual camera and the editing too, so cool! I like the tone. The new pickups sound very good (though I’m a beginner and I probably wouldn’t know the difference between these and the original ones).
So true!
Sounds like something he would do!
Cool, @JerryP, I love it!! ![]()
That’s great, @dlamson13, very well played!! The bass solo bit was fantastic!!
Two instruments for the price of one, @AndreaJayne, and lip sync’ing too! Well played!!
This song has got such a great groove, @groaner. Well played!!
This is a great song, @AndreaJayne. We are doing this one in the band - it’s always interesting to see how other people tackle it. Well played!
Thank you Andrea!
Thanks Duncan!
Great job, Andrea! Rockin’ tune! Taco Tuesday, Foo Fighter Friday…what is next?!
That’s a fun one. This is a perfect kind of bar music.
Love this song. It’s the first song I learned to sing in English, Yeah! I had no idea what I sang or what it meant. I found out a decade later that over 50% of the words were wrong, ![]()
Excellent playing and Bonus point for play 3/4 signature.
This is wild!!
Nice! Love the solo. I’d love to hear this again in a few months. You should milk those fills.
You had me at Dream Theater. Well Done!!
Good choice of bass and tone. I agree, it sits really well in the mix.
Great Mix. You’d be very popular with my band but it’s Ok to turn it up ![]()
Love me some Seven’s. The syncopation is just off the chart!!
Your bass face is GOAT! that’s what happen when you have to do math while playing, ![]()
NiCE!!!
Good playing man You own this Genres.
Try playing up different strings instead of up and down the neck, so you can save the stamina and pull the move up and down the neck for some dramatic outtro,
Good playing Mads. Love me some Pearl Jam.
Great Chromatic walk. I was waiting for some harmonic slides, you should throw some in there.
Love the artistic editing there man.
The break really makes the bass pop.
Love that crisp tone you get there. great cross string action man. Smooth.
I like the Staccato on this. First it sounds like an upright and second, it just drives the song.
Nice!!! that slides is just perfect. Awesome job man!! ![]()
Kudos to the singer too she’s good, she really belted on the last song. The drummer too, if that was me you’d need double ear protection standing next to the cymbal.
Great job man. That’s a crowd pleaser. It’s been on our set list forever.
Love the Editing, It’s so fitting. You nailed it Ed. Very tasty fills.
That’s a fun one you really keeping down the Lowend. I love that the singer just went for it.
Challenge? What challenge? You crushed it man.
Happy Father’s Day man thanks for the song.
I thought The Clash were from Nashville, ![]()
That’s awesome man. Open string?
That’s solid playing my friend. Great Job!!
Clearly you like this bass more, there’s a lot of swags, ![]()
This is probably the first time I saw you finger picking the string. What a tone on that bass man. Perfect for the Reggae.
That’s another crowd pleaser.
I’ve never heard of the band before but I love it.
I love this song and performance. It’s a very bass dominant song as it drives the mood of the songs with the half steps and transitions.
That’s some walking bass lines. Is that the Audeze LCD-X?
Man, crushing it again, Al ![]()
Thank you @Al1885! That’s an impressive amount of catching up. I appreciate you taking the time to give such great feedback to everyone.
Thanks @Al1885! Hope you’re managing to get back in the game ok!!
Thanks Al, looks like you had a good catch up session ![]()
Thanks John, we’ll have to think on that one!
Were you ever a Teenager in Love…? ![]()
Marty Wilde - Teenager In Love
Another song from my dep-gig, this time it’s Marty Wilde’s 1958 hit,Teenager In Love. I’m not exactly playing the original bass line as my goal is simply to get on top of the main groove. The chord progression isn’t hard, but I do need to concentrate as a wandering mind = wondering fingers!
Dingwall Combustion into GarageBand via my Ampero.
I’m up to 2328. a few more hundreds to go.
I had a blast I was going through 5 different IEMs and I gotta tell you the level of detail coming through is very impressive considering it’s a cover video, not only credit to the technology but the attention to detail most of you guys have.
I’m coming back slowly. I did play in 2 gigs already but as far as sitting down and play at home I’m still recovering. Stepping up on stage the adrenaline takes over and I go straight into autopilot and we just have fun.
Thanks for the kind words.
