Thank you Duncan!
Ah we all love the classics @JerryP !
For a moment at the start, I thought that was you singing Actually I wouldn’t be surpised if that’s your real voice …
Seriously though the tone was very nice - not really acoustic IMO but very round and smooth
Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day / Kim Wilde) - Kids in America
A fantastic cover of a fantastic song! Nuf said!
Green screen went a bit wrong! Still, I quite like the effect
Thank you Ed. I made sure it was published on Friday too, knowing how you look forward to it
Good choice, Billie Joe has done a few really good covers, I like his versions a lot.
Well played Duncan
Thanks so much Ed!
I was actually thinking of singing on this song, but I talked myself out of it because I think it would have ruined it. If I have time, I might try recording it just to see how it sounds.
Great job, always enjoy your Oasis covers!
I’ll throw this up here if it helps you or anyone else in the future. If you use Moises it can detect the original tuning and will allow you to “retune” the song to A440. Then you can download the pitch corrected to track and use it in your DAW. This software is amazing imo, especially for $4 a month.
Great job! And it is a great song.
P.S. Still like the Kim Wilde version better
WOW! That’s some fantastic tone!!
But high in mix but that’s good hear so we can hear!
Just awesome. Makes me want one now lol
I’ve been playing drums for a while now. But I thought for the longest time that playing any other instrument was impossible. Learning songs by ear on bass has been so beneficial. It very much translates over to guitar and right now all I play are power chords. I didn’t realize you can play almost anything with power chords. Give it a try, it’s fun.
Thank you John! Much appreciated.
BLUE OCTOBER - SAY IT https://youtu.be/esosacuPfwQ?si=2Q2kRmyximiL7MLs Easy enough song to learn and love this band so anyways, here it is. Have a great weekend.
Great cover Duncan, enjoyed it!
Awesome job John
Nicely played Never heard of them so checked em out and liked what I heard.
Yes sir also check out “Hate Me” by them. Fantastic song about the singer’s real life struggle with drug addiction he wrote to his girlfriend.
You can do this in most DAWs too (and probably with better algorithms).
Excellent job, dude. Not this one, but my wife and I’s song that we danced to at our wedding was a Blue October song (18th Floor Balcony).
Ive recorded one cover @432 and really liked the feel of that. I wouldnt want to go to 440 if I run onto another one.
Thanks brother !! Ok that’s awesome
