I hope so, I haven’t touched my basses in about a week. That’s the longest I’ve gone since I started. I’ve just hit one of those spots on guitar where everything is clicking and I can do more things faster. So I’ve just been running with it. Fully barre’d F chord, no problem (still prefer the mini F most of the time).

Hey JD, it’ll come back. I’ve played praise and worship for 35 plus years. I quit 10 yrs ago, sold everything but my Traynor amp my parents bought me in 79 or 80. Started back May of this year, acquiring gear and basically learning to play again, I’m almost there but not where I was. Keep your head up, it’ll come back.

YMMV but I’ve gone months without playing before with only minor rustiness that is gone in a few days of practice. Once the muscle memory is there, it’s there. It’s like riding a bike. I play bass maybe once a week now and am just fine. For reference/comparison, I have been playing about six years.
complete non-issue, plus in my experience guitar practice makes you better at bass (maybe even faster than bass practice in some regards.)
