Well done, Ed! Sounded great! I can’t recall hearing some 50’s on this thread during my time on here. That was cool.
Well done Ed, as I said on YT, it’s quite a recognisable tune, even though I didn’t recognise the name
This is such a beautiful song and it has a very simple bass line so I thought I’d do it.

Thanks for watching.

Nice one, Jerry! Quite the bass arsenal behind you in the background.
Enjoy the weekend.
Nice job @JerryP ! Absolutely love the thick tone you are getting here! I wasn’t sure that I knew this song, but then of course the chorus kicked in.
I have almost no business being or sharing here… I haven’t really checked out the many, many, many brilliant covers shared here or liked all of them… there are just so many - once you miss a few, you almost can’t catch up And some of you are such machines in churning them out
A big tip of the hat to all of you researching, rehearsing and recording covers!! Well done everyone!
So, here is one I tried recently. The song is called “River Flow” and the band is “Tristan” (composer: F. Vollink):
That was awesome Joerg! Never heard that song before but I love the rhythm. Great job!
Thank you John! There are a couple of basses missing from that shot.
Thank you fennario! I love the tone from the Aerodyne.
Thanks, Jerry!
Haha, yes, I tend to go for the lesser known stuff!
(But, I got inspired because I will see the band tomorrow evening )
Just perfect timing and tone Jerry! What a vocal performance too, I haven’t heard this for a while.
Thanks so much Dan!
Tonal perfection yet again @JerryP
Well done
Fantastical playing and perfect farty/burpy tone! Awesomeness.
Seen you around the forum, but never heard you play before, Joerg…,that was realllllly nice. You’ve got excellent technique and that song looked like it was fun to play. Enjoyed that one!
Stay tuned to Bassbuzz FM where play the oldies and the goldies
Great work @JerryP and love the flex of the basses along the back the wall. Whats’s the arcade machine btw?
Oh excellent cover @joergkutter ! It’s jazz, but good jazz It’s great we have such a range of artists on the cover thread (yes, we are all artists here) from the likes of me up to people like you and Gio - it really gives us something to aim for
Oh, love the sip of tea during the percussion break. I hope there was some Jack Daniels in there !
PS Impressive range of basses - one for every day of the week!
Thank you, @AndreaJayne! Yes, it’s a great song!!
That would have been rather funny, it would also have been a test of whether I could keep going under that kind of pressure
Well played, @Ed. I’ve also found that Moises can struggle, isolating the bass, with some of these older songs. I assume that it’s because the bass is often quite muffled and muddy…
I kind’a want to get the lighter out and weave it from side to side! Well played, @JerryP! Also love the facts you have an arcade game, so cool!!
So funky, @joergkutter! Well played!! And yes, it’s a job to keep on top of all the excellent covers!!
