ZZ TOP - CAN’T STOP ROCKIN’ https://youtu.be/OLLZYziMkMY?si=HuPVGdw0xgT7jTVt After a long two weeks away, I’m back with another “Me Z Top” cover. Enjoy! FYI, my beard is real……ANDREA ![]()

Great job bro ![]()
Great job as usual! I think it’s awesome that you pack the shortie when you travel. Serious dedication.
Nice one, Andrea! Hope you’re feeling better, but it looks like this song has been therapeutic for you! Enjoyed this one!
Awesome job, Dan! As I wrote on your YT page, I always dig when the arrangement allows the bassist and the drummer to play a bit without the rest of the band and in this song that part is particularly cool.
ZZ TRAVIS is back! Most definitely Rockin’ it! Keep these coming!
Haha thanks bro ![]()
Well played, @sunDOG! Somehow, I don’t think these songs are really challenging you anymore! Maybe time to “level up”?! ![]()
Thanks so much - I certainly did! And very sorry to hear about that job situation!
You’re a very kind man! I am very humbled ![]()

Arctic Monkeys - Fluorescent Adolescent
Hi, everyone! I’ve had a decent amount of free time to put into the bass since I started playing at the beginning of April. I am currently working through Module 12, and decided to start recording myself to keep vague track of my progress
I only wish I had started way back in Module 1! Loving the course so far
Nicely done! Wish my fretting fingers looked at comfortable as yours at only a couple months in🤘🏻
Thanks, Rob! I’m just happy to have such good resources like this available so I’m getting the good habits drilled in early!
Nice job amigo
Great starting point…very impressive for your first bass cover you’re sharing. You’re starting off with some nice technique with both the fretting hand and plucking hand. Well done, dude!
Emmylou Harris - Wheels of Love
Great job dude! Loved it
Very well done John! Love to listen to EmmyLou.
That was great Justin! Lots of memories there.
So I finally was able to learn one of the songs off of my “have to learn if I were to ever play an instrument” bucket list and definitely the hardest song of the year so far. This song has been one of my favorites since I first listened to it 9 years ago. I love this era of progressive metal so much and I don’t really think anything came close for me to actually pick up an instrument than that 2011-2015 style of metal music. Also marks a year and a half of playing bass so kinda thought it was poetic for me to learn it for that sort of milestone (And this is PEAK Djent-y goodness)
Disclaimer: Very high energy from the very first second. Just trying to warn so no one is jump scared lol
Northlane - Solace
Oh hell yes.
Super cool to hear you hit those tight riffs and wild rhythms so clean!
Kudos.
