Here is a song I had actually written on guitar, then of course added bass. As the song evolved, the bassline I kept working on, until it became one of the more defining parts of the song. Slow, melancholy soft song, very 90s grunge rock. What you guys think?
Not at all man. I know how much goes into making a song front and back. Even something very basic like a 3 chord song, when you consider layers, change ups, melodies, structure etc…it’s a lot, and this is more than just a bare bones technicality song.
Thanks! In this case the guitar follows the bass though, the whole song was created around the bass which was the first piece written. This was actually the song that recruited our current guitarist, and I think I have the recording we showed him. Yeah this was how that songs origin story lol, first day I got the Zoom B3n pedal
