SAG - Selling Aquired Gear

@John_E the 435 is worth a look too if you don’t care about active EQ.

Nothing wrong with those prices.
Not sure how demand they would be in, but they prices are very fair.

Please do

@howard is the active EQ the only difference between the 400 series and 700 series?

No - the 734/5 also have better pickups, and a composite maple-core body.

Yamaha price increases effective August 15.
I’m going to throw a preorder in to lock the price if nothing else.

Great thread idea! Thanks for putting this together.

Nothing for sale at the moment (just sold my last pedal, an EQD Hoof) but may have an LTD AP-4 bass in blue up sale soon enough. Still deciding, haha.

Good idea!
I got an email from Sweetwater this morning, in part, they said:

I see you have a bass on order with us and the current ETA Yamaha is giving us is early to mid October. It could show up sooner or it could be pushed back, not 100% sure until they update us.

What an amazingly helpful email!

I preordered just to hedge the bet.
I immediately got a call from my Sweetwater guy saying “hey, you know we aren’t getting these until October at best, maybe next year even”.
Told him yes just locking in price.

Sweet! What did you order?

BB735A in black

I’ll go try some other 5ers in the interim if I have the opportunity.

Ahh cool. It’s a great choice.

That’s the color of my Rosie. I love that color

I wasn’t crazy about the ‘coffee burst’.
And I don’t have another all black bass, my 305 I just sold was black, so….black for black…for now.

Your Frank Bella ESP is black

Not all black, fancy red stripe…and red pickups.

It must be a day for ordering new basses. I ordered an Ibanez SRF700 from Sweetwater today. I was told it will probably be October before they get it but that’s okay. I’ve wanted one for a really long time.

Oooh Fretless? I love the look of that one.
Have you tried it or are you going in blind?
