Okay I apologize for shamelessly drifting off topic, but I can’t help myself…
Here’s a new listing on my Reverb Shop. Ibanez Hard Shell Case for hollow body bass.

Added to the original post.
If anybody wants to have a Caline Wine Cellar, I’ll send it to you for shipping reimbursement.
I will join in that fun…
If anyone wants a VOX amplug2 Bass V2 headphone amp you can have it for shipping reimbursement vs. trying to sell it.
No, however, later that day it sold on Reverb before I could take it down, so sorry, its gone.
No. You can’t even give this stuff away.
I returned my Wine Cellar to Amazon after I bought the Tech21 VT Bass DI, but really didn’t have any problems with it. I just like the VT Bass DI better.
Do you totally dislike it? No nibbles on Reverb?
If this is still available I’ll take you up on your offer.
The Wine Cellar is currently in the hands of @eric.kiser to have fun with. Maybe it has a new home, maybe it will move along. I’m curious to see.
I’m glad it found its way to a new home. Very generous of you!
I think it would be interesting if the idea of a BassBuzz pay it forward lending library were to catch on. Maybe we could start by sending at least these inexpensive knock-off pedals around for people to see what they are about. If someone likes it, they could buy their own and send the loaner onward. Each pedal could have a waitlist/interest thread under a library topic if this caught on.
Someone on Reverb gave me crap for charging so much for shipping and wanted me to cram a pedal with bubble wrap into a USPS flat rate envelope. I was a little annoyed, but for @eric.kiser getting a pedal that would cost new almost as much as shipping, nothing more would do. The envelope was bulging and barely sealed, but the post office took it and it made it there unscratched!
Anywhoo, not being one to wait for organization and formality, I sent a pedal I didn’t want to someone else to try for the cost of shipping. Maybe someone else will too.
I hope @eric.kiser enjoys it. I had that pedal and truly did like it. The only reason I returned it to Amazon is because I decided to buy the Tech21 VT Bass DI instead.
What did you not like about the Wine Cellar @DaveT? Just curious…
I don’t have any pedals or I would do this (I have an old Fender modeling amp). But now I have a good excuse to acquire some more gear!
I’m making a fundamental shift in how I live. I’m getting rid of everything extra that I’m not actively interested in at the moment and don’t need to pretend I’ll use it someday.
I have all Wine Cellar-like effects that I need already. I was just curious what you could get for $35. I had to know if this gear would be good enough at that price.
For distortion I’m keeping my actual glowing tube preamp, the MoogerFooger Mini MF Drive and the POD X3. I sold the Microtubes amp with the Darkglass VIntage MT and BxK built-in. I liked the Darkglass tones just fine, but 5 varieties of distortion I just don’t need. The 3 I have are too many, but I can’t part with any of them this week.
I like the tone controls on the Tonehammer 350 just fine and if for some reason I needed something more I have the POD X3 which has more EQ options and I have the 5-band parametric EQ in the Mooer Radar. That’s also too many, but I like them so they stay. This is a cleansing cleaning, not a painful cleaning.
A little housecleaning every now and then is always a good thing…
Yeah this is exactly where I am at and is why I aggressively sell gear I am not using. Which might eventually end up being sad news for my TRBX604. That’s going to hurt a bit if I do it because I still love the thing - fantastic bass - but I have been all in on my BB734A since I bought it.
That’s my limit. It doesn’t go until it’s ready to go.
