But when they do……this is my all time favorite. Session of a classic.
@John_E Cool, the style (skaish) reminds me of Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. Unfortunately, for me it’s a nope I really don’t like the sound of that vocalist at all…

JJ was one of my favorite songwriters, and one laid back dude. The man himself
Maiden and Jackson. Shouldn’t work but it does.
That is oh so wrong @Barney
I remember when that hit the UK charts
Wow that’s surprisingly upbeat
Really excellent bass work too.
With the Darkglass/EBMM teaser and the rumor of Josh Paul having a custom preamp in a MM, here is my absolute favorite Daughtry tune.
The band gets a bad rap. I used to date someone who loved them and got ‘dragged’ several times. The band is tight. Great clanky bass riff.
This song reminds me of “Fork Boy” from LARD.
Reason it reminded me is because as soon as it takes off, It reminds me of the the movie “Natural Born Killers” and it’s soundtrack, and that song is ForkBoy.
Great soundtrack BTW
So is Pulp Fiction.
I beg to differ. There are plenty of covers that are way better then the original.
Oh, you want Proof. Now I have to think.
Ok, Alien Ant Farm did an awesome cover of Smooth Criminal.
Screeching weasel covered “I can see clearly now”
Fear covered “We’ve got to get out of this place”
Rev-Co - “Do you think I am sexy”
X covered Soul Kitchen, but yeah, both the original and cover are GREAT.
Most of Bauhaus.
Yes, much of it is subjective to the listener, but many are actually better songs.
Frank Zappa covering “Highway to Heaven” Live.
Edit: Ok, I just saw @howard’s post, along the same lines.
You keep surprising me, Toby
