Hey Bernds,
That’d be great but the restock is due in 3 months minimum there

3 month is quite along time, but the guys there are very nice and helpful.
Maybe you call them and ask for a earlier delivery?
this one as well has 7-9 weeks

Yes they are great, i sent them a email. We’ll see what they say
Not these days…
I ordered a Shell Pink Squier Bass VI a few months ago.
Its target delivery is september.
These days, if you get it, it is on time.
I love Thomann. Outstanding service and ridiculously fast international shipping. From placing my orders to receiving deliveries, from Germany to Texas, in four days. Too good.
Sadly, some brands have figured out that the prices for us folks in the USA were a bit adavantaged, and are adjusting now.
A Phil Jones 120 combo amp I was eyeing was $680 delivered, and now sits at $750 delivered.
I checked a few other brands of interest and saw the same thing.
Could just be price increases as that is ~10% but they have not gone up in US accordingly.
I’ve noticed that, John. It’s too bad, but inevitable, I guess.
I bought both of my Sires from Thomann for a hell of a lot less than US prices, with shipping included. I guess with the crazy cost of fuel and shipping these days, they’re adjusting prices.
I have to second this. My MDB5 I ordered months ago, and was shocked when it showed up at Sweetwater as it wasn’t expected until September.
At that Sweetwater only got 3 of them and couldn’t fulfill all of the preorders.
And I will add dates shift, and don’t get discouraged by that. If that will bother you then buy off the shelf because the supply chains are whacked right now. Have you seen that Singapore is in lockdown? Singapore is the largest shipping hub in the world.
I have a dear friend who is an expert on supply chain and she tells me it will take years to get things straightened out.
Late is the new normal.
It’s going to sound odd but I like it.
I like waiting for something Vs the immediate gratification we have all been trained to want/need/demand.
It’s like a surprise almost when it’s ready to ship.
I was surprised when I was set to wait another 4 months on the MDB5 and it showed up out of the blue.
I am more stoked for this bass than I have been for some time. May be something to what you say
I bought all the upgrade parts for the bass VI about 2 months ago. Figured I didn’t want to get it and then wait more months to get it humming. Put them in a cabinet and patiently wait.
Also waiting for my 2-string from Guns n Guitars. Don’t know how long it’s been or if it’s due soon. Figure it will be a surprise too.
At my age if I order something that’s a 3 month wait. I’ve completely forgotten about it by the time it arrives.
It’s like Xmas but with presents you actually want!
Guy on talkbass selling off a bunch of short scale basses.
wow. looks like he’s keeping the music man.
don’t know what was taking so long for them to release these, namm was months ago. but i pretty much can tell you i will have one of these someday. worth the wait.
I’ve got an.SBMM StingRay and it’s great. Godspeed with your EB shorty.
i also have one, in daphne blue. it’s my main bass. never could justify upgrading to the EB. but these are just…
Man those look awesome. What is your favorite color?
the plum one. but i can’t have two purple basses. so the blue one
