What really doesn’t work for me is that “double burst”:
Burst on the bass, burst on the pickguard.
Yep. Not good.
Violin bass with F holes-maaaaaaaaate
This is from 2009, but it shows my favorite burst on my metallic silver Modulus.
I love those Toast Machine shirts too.
I don’t know if we have anymore… I’ll have to look.
This is a shot from, of course, The Phoenix Theater.
Those are definitely bucket list instruments. Do you still use it?
I do use it… but the more time goes by, The Modulus becomes the Toast Machine bass. The music I get asked to play on never sounds good on it.
(Soul, funk, americana, country).
It’s such a beefy, clean, precision instrument. It sounds aggressive even at low volumes. It’s amazing for modern worship music, metal, and impractical solo-y stuff.
It’s the Toast Machine bass. I use it for tracking metal riffs (check 'em out: The Ultimate & Eternal Album | Gio Benedetti) and for writing Toast Machine-esque bits. That’s it these days.
That’s awesome @Gio love the music.
Petaluma, 2 of my mountain bikes were from SoulCrafts Cycles. I picked both up in Petaluma.
Just a great look
I am fully okay with this one
Eww. ugh. One of my favorite basses, in a truly bad burst:
Went a little heavy with the airbrush there, champs.
That’s quite a nice metallic burst!
Also, BONGO! Yay Bongo.
When you look at it in person, it looks like you could jump into it and swim away!
It’s really the only MusicMan product that interests me, I just love the styling.
sorry to resurrect this painful thread, but I had to show you this Jazz Bass (it’s a 90’s Washburn Lyon series with a Squier J neck)
Is that one of yours?
