Show Us Your Basses (Part 2)

To be honest, I haven’t gotten there yet. I’ve been running it through my Waza Air-Bass and amp. I’ve been obsessed with hearing it with what I’m used to. But don’t worry: I’ll check out the headphone amp after I change strings to my fave TI Jazz Rounds Super Longs.

Love the TI Jazz rounds. I just put one on my Joe Dart II. (to me) even more awesome than the TI Jazz flats because it’s a round wound, :joy:

Thanks, man! It’s been so long coming, I’d almost given up hope.

TI strings. Flats or rounds, are next-level. Pricey? You bet. Worth it? Abso-damn-lutely.

They are each so smooth feeling and great sounding that they’re all I use. Plus, they play for a long time, which mitigates the price. :sunglasses:

You play guitars have you tried their Jazz swing flats? I’m thinking about putting one on a Tele Project. I really want to tryout the Dogal flats, they are very pricey but I heard that all even the high E are wrapped. That’s pretty next level.

I haven’t tried TI strings for guitars. In my previous circle of acoustic guitar influence, those strings were never on the radar. God knows I tried all manner of acoustic guitar steel strings, though, from big factory to hand-wound.
