I made that up when I posted. But your question sent me aGoogling…seems like the Dr Neons under UV lights are as close as you can get.
Bugger- I am like a 5yo when it comes to glow in the dark stuff
I recently built this bass from scratch as a product design project for college.
It is a neck through bass made entirely from teak. It has two passive pickups and an active preamp inside. It has a toggle switch to bypass the preamp and go completely passive.
Fanned frets on a first build is ambition! Well done!
Love it love the handle @Abraham1409 but seriously, teak? that’s some heavy hard wood there, lol. It’s my favorite cutting board material.
Teak was the best wood i could get within my budget. I’m a broke college student
It’s actually a great wood, love the grain. Not joking, if you want some parameter on your next build let me know. If it’s reasonable, I’ll fund it, lol.
I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks
Dude, that is an awesome offer.
I mean, if you’re looking for reasonable basses to fund, I have a whole Reverb watch list full of 'em.
All kidding aside, that is an awesome offer.
Got the joke, but I believe @Al1885 is referring to funding a build.
Of course. But, I mean, aren’t ALL basses a build at one point or another?
LOL, I kid, I kid.
Well, mine are. Can’t. Leave anything. Stock.
Awesome! It looks like the kind of bass Batman would play. Love the handle!
Thank you so much! This is such a nice comment!
My Carl Thompson 4 String and Orange Crush 50 in purple.
Side by side of my Ibanez SR305EDX, and the Carl Thompson
Wow, a Carl Thompson. Congrats.
I’d love to play one.
Nothing to write home about, but I thought I’d show mine in any case. My beginner bass…I play her left-handed (hence the strap position) and upside down. She’ll do just fine for now. (On the cheese note, she prefers a smoked Gouda).
Wow!
