Delicate cycle, no fabric softener
Hang out to air dry out of direct sunlight
I saw this product, Fret Butter, in random web searching earlier today, sold at StewMac. Supposedly for cleaning fretboards and frets. Maybe someone here has tried it and can comment.
They are both stunning! Who makes those straps?
Beautiful bass @Sailfinn
This makes me want an Aerodyne. Badly. The nicest looking one I have seen @matt.g.ward.esq Congrats!
Just looked at Aerodyne Jazz basses on Reverb. Not one of them comes close to being as pretty as @matt.g.ward.esq 's
That’s a beautiful looking bass!
So you have Geddy’s rig now, looks great! I am looking for the same!
Walker and Williams
Thanks… See you in the GAS thread soon
I think Aerodynes are basically the best looking Fender basses in current production. They just look sharp, especially the MIJ exclusive colors.
I still love this Aerodyne P:
Congrats !! That’s one of my faves for sure. Love the knobs.
For the fretboard. Just use a couple applications of F-1 oil. If really bad, use some Gorgomyte cloth to polish the gunk away.
Welcome to the flame maple club!
I like the Fender Elementals. Aerodynes too
The one on the left ! All are nice, but that and Matt’s blue will do for me
Matt’s blue is the same one as third from the left in my pic. They are beautiful. The walnut is really nice too. As is the natural. Lol. They all are great. The blue/black stated as blue white but it’s the other ones alter ego now. Lol. Jake and Elwood are their names.
Aerodynes are just amazing basses ans great value for the $$.
MIJ Fenders (and FGN, etc) are the gems of the bass world for sure.
Do they not do the flame ones currently? I don’t see them anywhere?
Speaking of Jake and Elwood. Those are the names of two of Maryszczyk’s bass models.
That’s a very niche Rush joke, I like
I got roped in to help clean a really filthy Strat for a friend.
I resorted to fretboard oil and an electric toothbush to really agitate the gunk loose.
Its up to you whether its your own toothbrush.
