Does this mean he has a pretty significant find here?
Pretty cool
Well there’s only 100 in existence in the first place, so yeah
Just got into bass a couple weeks ago, but I’m having a lot of fun with it. My sister in law gave my kid a bunch of hand me down equipment because he plays in School of Rock, and that included a bass amp, so all I needed was a lefty bass.
I got a Squier Classic Vibe 70s Jazz Bass, lefty edition.
The family guitar collection includes a Squier Precision Bass, as well, but it’s a righty
That’s what I started on and did the entire course with. Solid bass.
Nice old school Ibby!
Nice!! I’m a sucker for ivory binding!
Well done and well deserved B2B is such a pain - finishing the course is worth a nice bass !
It’s not in my hands yet, but I couldn’t resist a Black Friday deal on one of these.
Apart from being very pretty, a short-scale hollow-body will be completely different to any other bass I own.
Nice! They are great.
Love the piano black! And yet another ivory binding.
How are you liking the new bass @JerryP ?
Loving it! I might use it on the next video. I’m going to do a test recording with to hear how it sounds. I was thinking about putting a set of TI flats on it, but I do like the brightness of the factory rounds.
Added one to the family… Built myself a short scale from a Dean six string V body and an Ibanez Mikro neck. Did some artsy customizing (kinda hard to tell but I gold gilded the entire back of the neck), and ‘Aero’ was born…
. DiMarzio pots, GM Invader pickups, Grover Tuners with LaBella Deep Talkin’ Flatwounds.
That’s totally cool!
Here is an updated family portrait to include the new Yamaha BBP34.
Not shown: Ibanez SR400EQM, Kala U-Bass and Traveler Bass TB-4P.
That guitar hanger is bothering my engineer brain that wants to put it level with the others lol.
Looking good @JerryP !!
Wait is that Street fighter?
The guitar belonged to my grandfather so I hung it higher than my gear out of love and respect.
