Have to ask my bro, as he sent it to me

I looked online and it mostly seems available on australian and asian websites. It may not have enough Freedom :tm: to easily get past 'Murrican customs, yet.

(I have no idea where you are from lol…)

Australia Mate,
My bro is the muso and now I have taken it up as I work as a roadie for a cover band.
Listening wasn’t doing it for me so Bass here I came

I too have been concerned about that

Dunno, in your case I think the curtains would be enough protection? Also I have only seen a very slight discoloration on white or nitro finishes. Think your are safe with that bass and finish anyway.

That is interesting!

My comment was more about the heat though. Same reason why they would tell you not to leave your bass in your car in a sunny day…

As in metallic components of the bass extending with heat while wooden components not.

Wouldn’t that cause some kind of warping of the neck for example?

@terb Cool wall of gear. Can we get a list of what all is there? Like, left to right, top to bottom, maybe?

What are those two red modules in that piece of Line 6 rack gear?

Cool space. I really like that desk.

That makes sense. Arctic white and 25 years of “Watch where the huskies go”

I just had the pickguard off my Strat Plus and you can see the presumably original white beneath it. The contrast isn’t near as extreme :eyes:

I bet it’s mostly to do with how the bass/gitter lived. A poly finish will fade in direct sunlight or under fluorescent lights due to photobleaching and photooxidation.

The part number that has the color code on these is hand-written on a hanging tag. I would say someone made a mistake, this looks like no Arctic White guitar I have seen, but from a website, the only white on the Strat Plus was Arctic :eyes:

Practice space, travel edition:

We’re having massive renovations done on our house (complete kitchen remodel, new floors in living room & family room) so we’ve moved into a nearby vacation rental for a few weeks.

One bass (Gretsch Junior Jet), Joyo practice amp (10 watts of earth-shaking power), a decent set of headphones, a laptop, and my trusty Zoom B1Four.

It’s only for a few weeks.

Nice practice space. Good luck with the renovations.

I use that Joyo in my living room when no one else is home and I want to hang with the dog and practice (the dog refuses to come into my music room), or when outside on the patio noodling (when it’s not 5 degrees outside). For the price it does its job.

What started as a 'how do I get my existing PC and new MIDI keyboard close enough to conenct to my PC, ended up a 'rearrage the whole room, including the albums on the walls".
Two days later…

My makeshift Hammond B3 dual keyboard…

The new ‘jazz corner’, perfect for for reading (aka sleeping).

The other outcome is now all the basses get to hang togther.
